I have been driving truck since 2007 and it seems like truckers are a piece of unwanted items. I don't see how any descent woman would want to date guys like us. Never home and when we do get home it's not for a long time. Normally a few days because you want to hit the road to keep money coming in. I would love to find one genuine honest lady that wouldn't mind my job and the time being spent away. Now, they would have to be faithful which is hard to find. Most women feel abandoned or unloved because we're not there to wipe their butts or cater to their every need. Women want independence but, they need a man to be around all the time? That's not independence at all but, I guess it's something that they can whine about. Just my two cents.

`the most i can handle at home is 48 hrs and its not for the $$ just thats enough time ! just sayin

`Whats real? Hard to tell what is your 'real" Life, the one you have on the road or the one you have at home? Therefore hard to have a "real' relationship.

`not all women are like that i am atruckers girl and i am faithful and honest when he gets homefrom being on the road for 2 weeks at a time he gets spoiled he sits and drinks his beer and relaxes while he can you truckers work way to hard with little or no sleep my dad and brothers were also truckers so maybe if you are around truckers your whole life you know and see what thay go trought

` Actually Someone who is gone for a while, then comes home and acts like it's a honeymoon works for some. It takes a special kind of woman,(or Man) one that's independent and confidant in his/herself and the relationship to do that.

`I recently met a trucker and has a short relationship where I was on the road with him. this life is how I grew up. .my father was a trucker and he is now the deseased, my brother is a trucker. on my own now & I just prefer this type of lifestyle I like my alone time and I like being with the person that I'm committed with. I'm looking for serious relationship its just so hard to find the right person you don't know if you can trust them you know if they're sincere or are they just looking for somebody to mess around with but if that's what you're looking for I don't have time for it but anyway everybody be careful out there & God Bless

Honey, a person who would do something like that is not worth worrying yourself about. You need to look at it from the prospective of that you are better off without them. It still hurts but just take it one day at a time and it will get better.

`I dated a trucker for 7 months .I honestly I liked it I worked and at night when he had time we talk on the phone or Skype .I stayed faithful all he did at the end he kept lying... I been around trucking most my life I never really got into driving I went in rolled to college instead I would love had someone I can travel with at times
