 Posted: Post subject: prime instructor that can train a female |

my application has been accepted at prime inc but have been told it'll be at least six month wait till they can find me an instructor that is either a female or a male allowed to train a female. If you know of anyone let me know.

`I got training from both male and female instructors.
I don't get it - why would a male NOT be allowed to instruct you?.. that's odd
I also found that I learnt more from the guys. But in my female instructors defence - she was french and I am not.. haha

it isn't so much that they cann't by company policy , it is that alot of instructors are married and have agreed not to train females with their wife. i have been an instructor for prime befor and know the wives have more to do with males not training females than prime rules. feemales usualy learn more from male driveing instructors becuase they feel the males have been in the industry longer and most female instructors are harder on female students to help change the way females are looked at by male drivers. i had a female that wanted to learn to back better than most drivers cuase we were at a reciver ond day and we saw a female shakeing her rear to get a man to back her truck in for her. when my student saw what was going on , she started yelling at the female driver " how the hell did you ever get your cdl if you cann't back?"

`lol that is funny I am a female wanting to become a truck driver but when i do i will carry my own weight and learn to back the damn thing up ! I use to back a horse trailer up and plenty boats in my past so once you get custom to it i guess it like anything else ! the economy so hard out there i just need to make livin !I know the trucking company use to being only a man world out there women lib are shaking it up but when it all boils down to it we just need to make livin too ! I am staieght female looking to team hopefully with nother female driver because i am only interested in just working no S-- all that with strangers just need to pay my bills ! ! I hope i can find female willing to team !!!
