Married to a trucker?

Why do people marry truckers and then complain cuz they never see them? Don't you know that's what it's like when you h--k up? That's like marrying a cop and then wanting them to quit their job cuz it's too dangerous. Well you knew that going into it, so why complain now? I've never understood that. Truckers aren't home, period.
Personally I prefer someone that's not glued to my side. I don't NEED to be joined at the hip with someone. I know what it's like to be alone and a loner, sometimes I like it , sometimes I don't. And not being faithfull to someone, cuz they're on the road all the time...sad..sad...sad. For God's sake then MAKE time to be with your significant other!

`you said dear. I am a fifth gen trucker. (not bragging just a fact). Dad was never home grandpa was never home I remember seeing dad two or three days a year If we where lucky. But then again there are eight of us.
He says he never cheated and I believe him to.
Mom just kept threatening to devorce him.
