 Posted: Post subject: Just a general gripe about lazy drivers |

You know, there's something I don't get. Well, I do get it, but it still pisses me off. These lazy drivers who...
1. Park in the fuel island when they don't gotta get fuel just so they can run in side and grab something. Hey fine, in the middle of the day, when there is no fueling traffic, have at it. But when it is early AM or later PM when everyone is trying to fuel, don't take up the fuel island. And on that note also, the drivers who wait in the fuel island closest to the building so they don't have to walk as far, when there are other open fuel islands.
2. Park in handicap parking because it's closer to the building, or also parking in a NO parking area when there are a hundred other spots either because they can't back up or they are lazy.
That's it for lazy drivers. Come on guys, I see how some of you are looking, trust me, you can use the extra walking, or less buffet eating. I'm not trying to come off like an azz, I used to be the same way, started gaining weight and getting lazy too, but a little extra effort will pay off.

`newtrucker, I can relate to what your saying.Though I am not sure it is all due to laziness,inconsiderate plays some part in it I am sure. One sure thing that pisses me off is seeing a driver heave their trash out the window, onto our interstate hywys. What do you reckon that is called?

`We all put up with those drivers. Or how about the reefers who park next to a flatbed at night. Like they want to listen to it run all night. These drivers just don't think , or don't care about their brothers out there. No respect for anyone or anything, they give us all a bad name. About the fuel island, sometimes you just have to go to the restroom(and now), that I understand, but when you see these guys standing in line at BK and you are waiting behind them to fuel for a half hour...GRRRR don't you just want to cuss them out. About the parking thing, I think the truck stops should manage the lots better. Get some managment pounding on some doors. I think better truck stop designs are needed, or excuse me, they arn't truck stops anymore, they travel centers(the whole problem)!
