Please help me in getting all those drivers who drink and drive off the roads. They make it hazardous for Us Truck drivers as well as the innocent four wheelers. I recently had a relationship end due to one of these drunk drivers. A woman that I had met and dated was in a traffic accident, she was in a coma for 3 days when she passed away from the internal injuries. So I have now dedicated my life to getting as many of these individuals that drink and drive off our roads and in jails forever. Thank you for your time and help in my crusade.

Unfortunate that that still happens with all the drinking and driving laws. Here in Manitoba we have one of the toughest. You would think people would learn to have designated drivers.....I know my friends and I do this. We even had radio ads from police officers saying to call 911 if you ever notice drunk drivers or someone who drives like they are intoxicated. Kudos to you for getting the message across. I know it caught my attention. In my thoughts and prayers.

I can not say i know how you feel with the lose of the loved one... but as for the D&D people out there, since i used to be in law enforcement, the worst part of all of it that the majority of the officers do not want to pull someone who might be intoxicated over is because there is too much paperwork and it distroys their life... aint that some b.s., but it is the truth.
I have made numerous calls and follow the vehicles and nothing ever happens. only twice have i seen an officer report and pull a vehicle that i call in over. 2 out of at least 50... not good odds for the rest of us out here...
Again I am sorry for your lose and I hope that your heart knows she is in a better place without any pain.

Wow, to think that an officer, someone who took an oath to protect, would forgo pulling someone over because of not only too much paperwork but it can destroy the driver's life. HELLO??? Do they not take into consideration that the ones they do not pull over could be the ones that end up taking lives? And they are responsible for that, in my opinion. It's just like a bartender not wanting to stop serving an over intoxicated person because it might be bad for business or the drunk might get mad and start trouble. It's all excuses and all total bull----. I know here in our town (it's extremely small so the officers don't have alot to do) they would wait outside of the bars until closing time and then pull you over for the littlest thing so they can give you the DUI. Many people complain about it, but I for one am all for it, cause if you weren't driving under the influence to start with, you wouldn't get the DUI. DUH!!!
I am sincerely sorry for your loss, and I hope that someday we will come up with an effective way to get drunk drivers off the road, because what laws we have in effect right now, just aren't working.
