How's it going?

Name is Jay and I'm 21.

I just enrolled in a TDS here in Illinois.

I've thought about doing Truck Driving since I was 15. Job wise, I've had experience loading trucks by UPS, FEDEX, and other independent warehousing companies.

I don't know a lot about trucking or repairs so I am concerned a little about that.

I have experience with driving manual cars. How much different is it for a truck?

The class I am taking is only a month long class. I haven't taken my permit test yet either.

Can someone explain Airbrakes? I've done a little research but it's still a little confusing.

Also, if someone could state some advantages and disadvantages of the transportation industry, that would be helpful.
