i've had my class a for a year now but i haven't used it family matters have prevented me from going on the road. what should i do what companies should i talk to?? i've had one accident which is over 3 years. wasn't major. no tickets or anything that would keep me from driving. any pointers? oh yeah because i'm from california i seem to have trouble because a few companies don't hire from here.

`companys like england , swift ,crst, and werner that have their own driveing schools will be your best bet. i know you already have a cdl, but they are going to want you to go out with a trainer and do a refresher course till they know you can handle the truck. while these companys don't have the best track record for keeping drivers, they do offer training for new drivers. and untill you have atleast 6 months to a year the better paying and better companies won't be "beating down your door" to hire you . i know in alot of ways it sounds bad , but everyone has to start somewhere.
