just getting back into driving otr. i am curaintly here in ca and looking to maybe relocate or stay but havent decided yet. many factors will be my final decision. I just seen this site so i decided to h--k up and see what is all out there and look for possible idea's. i'm old school 5 and 4's , 5 and 2's, for those that know what i talk of. started on the farm with a 2200 international single axle with a 41 ft highboy back in the 70's when i was a kid. throughout the years have driving 10 over, 13,15,18, 7 auto, and have now tried autoshifts (which mind you i hate lol because of what i experianced that the rpms shift to high or to low so something has to give from my experiece's throught the years.spent many yrs in the artic over ice roads to otr.highboys, china tops, dry, reefer, tandems, tri's, quads, jeeps, converters, trambone, 12,14 16 bunks. what i am looking for now because i have been away for ump teen years.east or west otr which is best to drive and those long haulers , which is the best over dimentions companys to drive if i choose to drive that dont have problems that i have been away for 7yrs, cause i see here in states alot of companys have problems if you havent been driving for a while. I never drove double but those that have driven double what is the pros and cons about such?..in the past my believes was i share my paychecks with no one ,so i really never looked at team driving. well i will end there for now maybe with what i put down insite will come to to me if not, have a nice day lol....
