I'm a single truck driver and I live in Northern Mississippi. I am looking to meet new friends and who knows maybe a girlfriend some day or more. I enjoy Nascar, my favorite driver is Dale Jr. and I love going to the beach and fishing when ever I have time. I spend a lot of time on the road driving truck and I go all over the country. I usually get home on the weekends. I'm not really sure if I am interested in finding a long term relationship in the near future however the idea of having someone to come home too does sound great. In my 18 years as an over the road truck driver one thing I have learned about relationships is that when you're apart for sometimes a week or more it is very hard on the relationship because even though I am gone on the road working very hard she is at home alone. It has most often been the same story. She needed someone there, and even though I was working my tail off to support her someone always seems to take her away. Is there a good woman out there who can handle being in love with someone who isn't always there? I'm not a bad looking guy, and have been told I am awesum in bed, but why isn't that enough to keep someone around? There is a saying the truck drivers have out here on the road about women and that it is very hard to find a good woman who is strong enough to handle a relationship with us. And for the women who do, they are very proud of the man who works so hard to feed his family and yes, we feed the country too by transporting everything. I may never find the right one but then again she might be just around the corner.I love being around kids. I have a 19 year old daughter that lives up in Michigan and this year she made me a grandpa for the first time. I am hoping to someday get them to move to closer to me.One thing I am not interested in is finding a woman who has no goals or ambitions in life. If you are looking for a boyfriend to support you while you sit at home and do nothing with your life leave me alone.
