I drive tractor-trailer dry van and reefer i am looking for someone who will understand the trucker lifestyle and understand i will be away from home for long periods of time. Ideally someone who is a little younger then me (i.e. mid-30s) but ultimately age is not important. Just the right person is most important beyond that everything else is manageable. I am sensitive and thoughtful, I can be very romantic at times but I have a few quirks about me that some people may find odd. I love to ski and golf, time and money permitting of course. i love to watch hockey (barring a lockout), football (prefer CFL to NFL but really just love football), and baseball. I am university educated so i am intelligent and can hold my own in any conversation. Politically I am conservative, if you have a differing political view from mine I can accept that if you can accept my view. i happen to believe that two people can be in a relationship without sharing the same opinions on everything, as long as they are willing to accept that the other person has a perfectly valid opinion. I have the utmost respect for women. I think some women can be a pain but i also think some men can be a pain to. I also live with my parents and no it is not the 40 year old virgin syndrome it is a situation where neither me nor my parents can afford our own place right now. i have no doubt i will own my own home eventually but it will include my parents in some capacity. I am independent but i work well with others. In a nutshell I am looking for a relationship based on mutual respect and mutual attraction. We should be able to look past any difficulties the other person has had to deal with in life and accept each other for who they are. Doesn't that pretty much sound like what everyone is looking for?
