I recently became interested in trucking when a friend went back to it -have read several books and am interested in the culture, people, way of life. Would like to meet someone as friends or more, if it works out that way!
A few weeks ago I was farm-sitting in a rural area and the only place close was a Pilot truck stop and a truck repair facility. I went up and got some lunch, and started talking to a trucker from GA. We must have sat there and talked for an hour and a half. He was a bit younger, and married, but it was interesting to talk to him. The day before, I had seen a man in there who walked by me several times, and I wanted to say something...but was leery of how that would look, approaching someone in a truck stop.
I mean, I would like to meet someone, but am looking for something that could develop into an actual relationship. Not just a fling. Seems that with most men, you really have to specify that, so I want to make it clear.
