Something of a paradox. Truly, I'm looking for friends above all else. I'm probably not the most highly educated trucker in the game, but I'd stake a bet I'm close. I left the corporate world and the suits behind, generally, because I tend not to like most people I find wearing them. I'm not a fan of the rat race. Win or lose, it doesn't matter. If you run the rat race, when the race is over, you're still just a rat.

I'm looking for friends that "think" about what they say before they say it. I have a quick witted, razor's edge brand of humor for the most part, and I'm extremely quick to use it on myself. I figure if you can't laugh at yourself, you take yourself too seriously. I'm also the guy you might see giving his last $12 for the week to a person who needs it more than I do. Yep, I've been known to do that, it's where the $12 specificity originated.

I own the truck I roll, and I have a lease to a large national company where I pick and choose my own loads and destinations. Point is, if it's in the U.S. to see and I want to see it, I book a load to see it and go. I love seeing the great wonders this country truly has to offer.

I've had relationships where baggage and secrets were issues. No more. If you've got a past, fine. Tell me about it. I'm a big boy, I can handle it. If you're carrying around bad baggage, let it go. It's not doing you any good. I am an open book, I ask the same in return.
