The Ideal Co-Driver I'm looking for a co-driver. I will be driving *for* a company based here in North Carolina. They require at least 1 year OTR experience. A clean driving record, clean criminal record, clean ticket/point record and good cargo claims record. I, personally, have 0 points, 0 tickets, 0 accidents and 0 cargo claims. That's why they have invited me back to drive for them. However, if I want to go east-west (from North Carolina to California and back), I *have* to have a co-driver. The ideal co-driver would *have* to be focused on getting the job done! They are offering $750-$800 a week per driver. It's not the best paycheck but it's not the worst either *and* it's a steady paycheck. Their payday is every Friday. They have automatic transmissions in KWs. I don't really remember which KW but you can view their site at (removed). It's 99% no touch freight. As a team, we'd pick up a loaded trailer here in North Carolina, take it to California, drop it, pick up an empty trailer, take it down near LA, drop it and pick up another, loaded trailer and then come back. We'd be home every weekend so we can get our 34 hour restart.
Now, here's something to think about. I have the ideal record, I didn't get that by playing around. I'm heading into my 3rd season as a driver. I am buying a house with my crappy credit and I have found a way to get it paid off in 7 years or less. I am focused on my goal. Once I'm back with BCJ, it is my full intentions to be there for no less than 10 years. My husband is no longer able to drive due to a series of heart attacks.I am NOT interested in the position of "bed warmer". I am NOT interested in playing around. I *am* interested, however, in getting the job done to the best of my abilities and getting my house paid for, which is a small miracle given the current economic conditions. I *know* what I want and I *know* scam it. I ask serious inquiries only.Thank you for your time in reading this portion of my profile.
