Would love to meet a single, older truck driver for LTR My late long time boyfriend died in an accident several years ago, and since then I have had two disastrous relationships - with men who were possessive and jealous. They became physically abusive with me. After the last one I vowed never to date just anyone anymore. My late boyfriend drove trucks for a living; he was an older man. I fell in love with him because he was so kind and so shy. He often came into the restaurant where I worked, usually about once every two weeks when he did the cross Canada route. He spoke softly and respectfully to me, and he just loved his weiners and beans. We often laughed about that. I guess I am looking for the same kind of man, not to replace John because no one can ever replace him, but because the closest anyone has ever come to being like him was a trucker as well. Most truckers are very warm and lonely, like John when I met him. I am a very fit, very confident, but shy woman - not taken to going out to bars. I would love to meet a trucker for a long term relationship. But he must be kind, not possessive or violent. We can start with emails, or chats on the net.
