CDL TO CDL Hi I am a single Hispanic female born and raised in El Paso, TX. I have 3 children (who are all grown and on there own) and 3 grandchildren. I retired from my formal career in 2004 and after a year or so of retirement decided with my father's encouragement to undertake truckdriving. I really didn't think I could handle the big rig but my father stated the Harley I so love to ride was just as dangerous and as long as I respected the rig like the bike I should do just fine, so I went for it... To my surprise I found out that I not only had the stamina for the long haul driving but the money and freedom of the road are great and I actually love this new career, only thing is I found that the road alone can get well pretty lonely.
When I am in town no time for socializing to busy getting caught up on sleep or laundry. I like to think of myself as a pretty easy read and honesty a must (I would rather hear the bad trueth than a good lie anyday). Not quite sure what I'm hoping to find thru this site but even entertaining conversation as I'm rolling down the road would be welcomed
