What I like about trucking is the freedom—windows down, good music playing, and the road stretching out ahead. It gives me time to think, to breathe, to feel connected to the land and life itself.

What I dislike? The long stretches away from loved ones, and the wear and tear it puts on both the truck and the body. But there’s still something honest about it. Like a good song, the road tells the truth.
