Well I spent the first 9 or so years of my adult life in the military. Did a stint in the middle east (mostly Iraq) and now I'm very glad to be starting a somewhat normal life. I got into trucking because I heard it could be "good money" and a way to see the country until I decided to do something different. So far I'm enjoying it. The money is "good", and it's all part of a 5/10/15 year plan. I have my own Trucking Company called I-OPS (It stands for Independent Operations). I'm saving to purchase my equipment and hoping to broker, run under my own authority and eventually not even drive (unless I feel like it), but for now it's fun. I'm currently training student truckers, but I'd honestly like to find a special girl to spend my time and travel with instead. There aren't a lot of single women in the trucking business (and even fewer attractive ones, lol), so who knows how that search will go but I figure "who knows?" I have dog, a Jack Russell, he's like my son, but he stays with a friend while I'm on the road because I can't have a dog on the truck while I have students. I don't live the normal "trucker lifestyle". I don't usually park at "truck stops". I drive somewhere new everyday, find a gym, workout, have a nice dinner somewhere, read, go for a run etc. I love the coast, especially Florida and would like to maybe move back there one day when I'm not traveling as much.
