Breaker One-Nine, this here's the Rubber Duck Yes, unfortunately I'm old enough to remember the song (and movie) Convoy. When I was little, my sisters and I used to play a 45 of it ALL the time. My eldest sister would do the radio chatter, and my other sister and I would do the chorus. What a blast from the past. LOL!
Well C.W. McCall aside, I've always entertained the idea of being out there on the open road trucking across the U.S. of A. I don't know...I love to road trip and all that. I've had a few friends who drove truck and they've all told me being out there is tough. I don't know, I suppose all those great movies from the late 70's glamorized it all just enough for me (Smokey & the Bandit and such).
So hey, I may never actually BECOME a trucker...but that doesn't mean I can't possibly make friends with one, right. If you're trucking on through my neck of the woods, drop me a line already. Drive safely.
